The Grain Trail will reflect the food provenance that visitors experience in their glass, and on their plates along the trail. Visitors will be immersed in the terroir as they experience the agricultural landscape, waterways, and architectural heritage as well as biodiversity corridors of the canals. Along the way, visitors learn of the processes, ingredients, and producers, which allows them to experience local food and beverages in a distinctive and memorable way.
A project steering group has been established and consultants appointed to develop the concept. Consultations are due to begin in Q2 2025, with the concept development phase due to be completed by Q4 2025.
